The following arena acts have been booked for this year's Carnival 


The Melton Mowbray Toy Soldiers Marching Band


The Melton Mowbray Toy Soldiers formed in 1936. Members are trained how to march, taught drill with a replica rifle and how to play any band instrument of their choice if they so wish. Their instruments consist of Trumpets, Euphoniums, Baritones, Saxophones, Slide trombones, Tenor horns, Bell lyres, Side drums, Tenor drums, Cymbals and Bass drum.

Their uniform consists of Red tunics (Grenadier Guard Style), white trousers with a red stripe (male and female), Bearskin type hats, White Sam Browne belts, White socks and Black shoes.


The Dog & Duck Display


Stuart Barnes has worked as a shepherd all his life and has trained many sheep dogs for others and himself . 
He has had years of experience with the public, and is offering his skill at shows while he presents The Sheep Show in-between .

Sheep Dog Display




This is a 30 minute display understanding the working Collie Dog with plenty of involvement from the audience.

The Sheep Show

Appearing at over 100 shows a year and in front of an estimated audience of 2.5 million people, this unique show has captured the hearts of many.

The New Zealand style team of presenters educate and entertain , with their fantastic sheep all over the country.
Nobby the Norfolk Horn stands centre stage while others are introduced to their podiums. We learn about each breeds attributes and how wool from the sheep's back becomes a jumper to wear. The shearing demonstration is well commentated and has the audience captivated.

The 30 minute show is cleverly devised and is highly entertaining and extremely informative, a rare combination. The highlight of the show is the “The sheep show Hustle . Dancing sheep!!
