Event Timings

At the White Hart Inn  - 11.00am Eynsham Morris performing then moving onto the Square.

 
12pm The Craft Fair Opens on the Playing Field- Oxford Road

At Witney Road, School Layby - 12.15  Start of the 2011 Shirt Race

12.30pm The Breaston Highlanders Marching Band sets out, followed by theofficial opener (Louisa Hannan from BBC  Oxford) with the Chairman (Julie Jordan),Carnival Queen, Deputy and Attendants.

At Back Lane Car Park - 12.00 Judging of floats.
12.35pm Parade of floats join from Clover Place and Eynsham Morris join at he Square.

At the White Hart Inn - 12.30pm Finish of the Shirt Race.

Oxford Road Playing Fields - 1.15pm The Parade enters the field.

1.45pm Official opening of the Carnival by Louisa Hannan, from BBC Oxford, and presentation of prizes.

In the Arena and Field
2.00pm Mark Stannage: International stuntman/escape artist/highfall show.
 
2.30pm Aaron Stannage: Solo Mountain bike stunt display.

3.00pm The Breaston Highlanders Marching Band.

3.30pm The Rockwood Dog Display Team.

4.00pm Mark Stannage: International stuntman/escape artist/highfall show.

4.30pm Aaron Stannage: Solo Mountain bike stunt display.

5.00pm The Rockwood Dog Display Team.

5.45pm Grand Raffle Draw
 
6pm CRAFT FAIR CLOSES
 
During the afternoon ,
  • Also on the field during the afternoon: Laser Storm; Rodeo Bull; Animated Magical Moments; Chocolate Fountain; Jazz Band; Wood turners; Thatching display; Oxford Entertainers; Giant Funfair; Beer tent; Food stalls; BBQ and Craft Marquee.

    All times are provisional, acts/activiites shown have been booked but performances are subject to weatyher conditions and circumstances outside the Committee's control.

    It is possible that unauthorised traders/ collectors may operate on the public street. No street collections/ stall have been authorised by the Carnival Committee. Only stalls in the playing field have been given permission to trade.
